Membership Benefits
Office, library and archives
The Hallmark Society office is located at #18 Centennial Square, Victoria. The library and archives contain rare and valuable publications, photographs, and over 8,000 slides. We also have a collection of reference books on heritage preservation and history. Our "house files" contain information on over 8,000 buildings in the Capital Regional District.
Members can examine the collection free of charge when the office is open. They can also ask questions on heritage matters and seek advice on proper restoration methods. The office is generally open on Wednesday mornings from 9 am - 1 pm and Thursday mornings from 10 am - 1 pm. However, we recommend you call ahead to make an appointment to ensure someone is in the office to assist you with your research.
Special events and tours
The Society also offers special events and tours for members only. Previous tours have included downtown churches, a suburban farm, HMC Dockyard, and a rare untouched Central Saanich property. During Heritage Week, we offer Members' Night with a special speaker who echoes the national theme. See our meetings page for details of this year's event. Suggestions for future events are always welcome.

How to join the Hallmark Society
If you are interested in heritage sites and their preservation, we would like to have you join us. There are a number of membership categories including a new "student" membership. Please complete our membership form and send to the office at the address below.
